The Aktio-Preveza International airport is less than a 30 minute drive from Paleros, with frequent flights from major European cities and flights to Athens International Airport connecting with all major cities in the world.

Currently the travel time from Athens to Paleros is 3.5 hours and the route crosses the spectacular Rio-Antirio bridge shown above. The forthcoming Patras-Korinthos highway will reduce the journey by one hour.

You can reach Paleros by seaplane which lands at the adjacent port of Lefkada. Regular services operate from Ioanina, Patras, all major Ionian islands and Italy (www.airsealines.com).

You can reach Patras and Igoumenitsa harbours from Italy with fast, luxurious and latest technology ferry boats. Paleros can be reached by either port within 1.5 hours.
