“Our Greek Dream”

 In September 2010 we had a holiday in Paleros, we enjoyed the area so much that on our return to England we searched on the internet for properties for sale in that area, as our life long dream has been to own a holiday home in Greece.

On searching the internet we came across Paleros Dream Homes, and of course the Ionian Nest development, after much talking and making enquiries we made arrangements to visit in October of the same year.

On our arrival we were met at the Yacht Club by Marios and Haritini who then took us to Ionian Nest Development, arriving  night, the grounds were lit up with a water feature in the centre, it looked beautiful. We were  then shown to a ground floor two bedroomed apartment that we were staying in for one week, it was finished to a very high standard and furnished out very comfortably, it was love at first sight, we were just blown away.    

Just 30 minutes from Aktio airport, the situation in which Ionian Nest stands is quiet and beautiful, in a very typical Greek Village with wonderful mountains and the sea a 5 minute walk away, Paleros is just 2km away where you will find a wonderful harbour, the yacht club, tavernas and supermarkets, who could ask for more, certainly not us.

Like most people of course we were concerned about buying a property abroad, we were delighted in the way Konstantinos and his team at PDH  saw us through this process, they were most helpful, professional  and supportive and  filled us full of confidence and did not disappoint us in any way.

We are delighted with our dream holiday home, and look forward to spending many happy times there.

We arrived at Ionian Sunset Bay late in the evening and we felt in love with it immediately. What a view! We saw the lights of Lefkada-town and the moon shone over the water.

Then we opened the apartment where we would stay for some days. We stayed in an one-bedroom apartment and we felt at home immediately. The apartment is not big, but very cozy and practical. And everything is in it, so complete.

The next morning, we slept very well on the comfort bed, we looked at the stunning view again. But now by daylight. Still so beautiful. We where sitting there at our big veranda and just enjoyed the view.

Later that week we visit Ionian Nest. We also felt in love with Ionian Nest and also the area. So beautiful! Now we had some possibilities to find out.

Now we can say that since May 2010, we are the proud owners of an one-bedroom apartment of Ionian Sunset Bay. Both projects are dear to us, but we decided to go for Ionian Sunset Bay.

AN IONIAN DREAM

We first met the Paleros Dream Homes team on 30^th November 2008. Since then we have watched Ionian Nest grow into a stunning development. 

During this time of recession we had considerable reservations regarding the financial stability of the project but these have proved unfounded and the project has been delivered largely on schedule.

The location is unique with imposing mountains falling into a tranquil sea; watersports  and waterside tavernas abound.

Ionian Nest is beautifully and imaginatively designed with varied apartment styles. The central island with palms and water feature are aesthetically extremely smart and peaceful.

The apartments themselves are appointed and finished to a very high specification, better than anywhere else we have seen in Greece.

The Ioanian Nest  foreman, George, and his workforce have been truly amazing. With his very limited English, and our equally restricted Greek we still communicated admirably. George was utterly responsive  to our requests for help. He loaned tools and ladders and ‘no’ seems to be absent from his vocabulary.  

The PDH team of Konstantinos, Ioanna, George, Katerina, Eleni & Anna have been simply outstanding in helping and guiding us through the legal and practical issues of buying and living in Greece.  We look forward to meeting you here!

In Paleros Dream Homes we are proud to present Ionian Sunset Bay.

The first clients moved in.

Paleros Dream Homes obtained the building permission for the following villas:

•  Villa Magnolia
•  Villa Mulberry - Villa Gardenia
•  Villa Daphne - Villa Jasmine - Villa Dahlia

The reinforced concrete structures of the buildings and the three swimming pools have been completed.

Villa Madouri and Villa Atokos have got reinforced concrete structure.

Apartments number 5 & 10 are fully furnished and available as "show houses" for our clients.

Paleros Dream Homes opened a new sales office in Agios Nikolaos on the main road between Vonitsa and Lefkada.
